Why your energy could be low (very common!)

Let’s talk about energy levels. So many clients come to me with burnout and low energy. Just like this guy did.

He’s a successful entrepreneur who initially went into business for freedom, unlimited income, and independence. 

He’s got one out of three — the income. And he’s paid a heavy and exhausting price for it.

He’s forgotten that he’s literally in charge and beats himself up for being ‘lazy’ and sitting on the couch instead of being active. He wants to ‘try harder’ and push himself more to succeed.

“If I can succeed in business I should be able to succeed with my health and fitness.”

Here’s what I see and it’s even happened to me — we’re so busy trying hard to succeed in life that we seldom ever slow down to take a look at the big picture. 

Am I even happy? 

What is happiness?

Is there a way I can still succeed without self-imposed stress, worry, and control?

Do I even enjoy what I’ve created?

We’re in a zone and just keep pushing through. 

We’re a product of society’s definition of ‘success’. 

That’s this dude’s story and he’s literally tired of it. And why wouldn’t he be? His thoughts about his business and existence are exhausting.

What’s he doing differently now? 

He is taking his power back and setting better boundaries at work. He’s letting go of his exhausting thoughts that he needs to be in control.

He is taking off one week a month to live!

He’s putting VIP appointments with himself in his calendar to walk, try new activities, and simply be still. 

He realizes his energy level is consistently higher. He has less on his mind. He’s chill. 

Because his mind is less cluttered and exhausted, he has more energy to think creatively about his next steps which will allow him to take off two weeks a month.

He is smiling. He’s excited about his future. He shows up with more calm and peace daily no matter what’s happening in his life. 

High five for the energy we gain by learning how to win at the game of life while we’re alive!
