Not only was the sh**tter full but...

Sooooo.....winter camper living on top of a cold and windy mountain has been interesting, to say the least.

It’s like a box of chocolates — you never know what you’re gonna get and sometimes what you get isn’t even chocolate ;)

This past Saturday we planned a huge all-day bonfire/burn for the big stump and brush piles (here's what I learned from those piles!) that are currently where we want our future house to go.

And in the midst of it, we realized not only that our shitter was full, but it was also frozen. Hahahaha.

And the gray tank that’s used for doing dishes and showering was also completely frozen.

It took all day, with boiling water and a hairdryer, but we tackled that box of chocolates!

And this morning’s fresh box?

A burned-up wire in our circuit box that controls the heat.

Yep, I’m currently freezing my chocolates off in here. Hahahaha.

I used to stress, worry, and get mad about life happening but what’s the point?

Eckhart Tolle’s philosophy is spot on and one I've learned to live by —

We always have three empowering choices:

  1. Accept your current ‘what is’ fully as if you’ve chosen it

  2. Change what you have the ability to change about your current what is

  3. Or, leave it

And right now, I think it’s in my best interest to do a little bit of all three :)

Cheers to making empowering choices in your life today!
