I sought out coaching with Kelly because I was stuck in a continuous energy-draining cycle that felt desperate, cynical, and exhausting. I felt lost, like I had several of the pieces I needed to make the life I wanted but I didn’t know how to put them all together. I had no idea how to move forward.

I wasn’t completely confident about the results I’d get from coaching because I had been trying to break the cycle all my life without ever making much progress.

Now I have clarity around what’s actually going on when I start to spiral and I have the tools to do something about it.

I feel confident, energized, powerful, and grateful. I feel like the life I want is slowly taking shape around me. Partly because I’m finally taking the right steps to make it happen, and partly because I’m now aware that I already had much of it the whole time.

By far my biggest takeaway is the realization that my Inner Critic is not me. I’m now aware of when my IC has taken the wheel and I have the tools to deal with it. This is huge because one of the other things I realized is the vast majority of what drains my energy is actually the IC beating me over the head with shame and cynicism. Now that I’ve taken the power back, I feel free, hopeful, and energetic about life and my limitless potential.

And this new mindset has profoundly impacted how I approach my life, relationships, and business.

Hiring a coach feels super risky, I get it. It was really difficult for me to get to the point where I was ready to make the investment, but I’m so glad that I did. If you trust Kelly’s process and commit to doing the work, you’ll see an exponential return on your investment. Here's an interview with Lynn Schmissrauter, Transition Consultant, after our three months together:

Why did you seek out coaching? 

I am entering into a new part of my life – and some of it feels like foreign territory to me.  I think that coaching is important as I try to establish some new habits and norms – and to get clear about my expectations for myself.  I knew that it was time to start something new as much of my life is changing.  Some of the changes are of my own making – like career transitions – but some are just coming naturally as I age.  I don’t want to be one of these people who fights nature – and yet I also don’t want to just blame everything on “getting old”.

What did you gain from coaching? 

The way that Kelly frames her coaching – by looking inward at the mind and heart while also strengthening outside the body - is a perfect combination for what I am seeking.  The benefits are multi-layered.  She helped me deal effectively with some major transition points, she offered encouragement and guidance when I struggled, she is affirming and positive, and she models a healthy lifestyle.  Her coaching is training, mentoring, modeling and supporting.  I learned some new and simple ways to begin the lifelong process of strengthening and toning – and I met someone whom I admire for her grit and her grace.

What was a pleasant surprise that you didn't anticipate you'd receive from coaching? 

I lost ten pounds – and I can now see my ribs!  I didn’t anticipate the internal work to be such an important part of training.

What were your most powerful takeaways? 

Naming my internal critic – and naming my intuition.  Sophia wins…

How has coaching up-leveled your life? 

I think if you are really learning and gaining clarity and consciousness, it’s really hard to fall back.  In other words, once you’ve had a taste of the good stuff, you never want to return to what is fake.  I think Kelly helped me launch into another level of authenticity – mainly because that is what she models.

What would you recommend to someone who was considering coaching with me? 

Do it.  Just do it.  It is worth the investment of time, money and energy.  Kelly is flexible and funny – and she is a pro.  She will bring out the best in you – and she will help you look at yourself in new and wonderful ways.  Just do it.

Why did you seek out coaching? 

I sought coaching because I wanted to lose weight and I felt stuck in life. Full of ambitions but didn’t know how to move forward.

What did you gain from coaching? 

I learned that when you are stuck in one area of your life, more than likely you are stuck in other areas without realizing it. I was able to see that one of the reasons why I was stuck at losing weight was because I was happy with how my life was unfolding. As soon as I was able to set in motion some life goals, the weight also started to come off. The goals were set in motion because Kelly helped me transform my abstract ideas into clear objectives that I could actually accomplish step-by-step. 

What was a pleasant surprise that you didn't anticipate you'd receive from coaching? 

Honestly, I wasn’t sure that coaching with Kelly was going to be worth the investment. It was a surprise to see that it was actually one of the best investments I've ever made. I was also surprised to see how motivated I felt in such a short period of time. My sessions ended months ago and I still feel just as motivated to live my life fully and even to start a consulting business… I never thought of that before!

What were your most powerful takeaways? 

That I am worthy of happiness and that I don’t have to feel selfish for taking care of myself. What others think of me it is their business, not mine. Finally, I feel assertive enough to know that it is OK to ask for help when needed—networking is very important!

How has coaching up-leveled your life? 

Yes!! I feel more confident about my abilities and the skills I can bring into any endeavor I decide to pursue. 

What would you recommend to someone who was considering coaching with me? 

Be ready to discover yourself and what you are worth and don’t be surprised if what you find out is totally different than what you had in mind. Be patient!! Some of the assignments are very personal--they force you to look deep into who you are and why you are the way you are. Be open minded!!

I started seeking a coach when I realized that I was at a point in my life where I felt “stuck” mentally and physically. I knew I had greater potential, but I didn’t know exactly how to get “unstuck” and unleash it.
