HEALTH & PHYSICAL COACHING

 

We work together to up-level your physical health through targeted, varied, safe and effective workouts (in person or phone/Skype) that are based on your ability level and goals (I’m NSCA certified since 2009). 

We also spend time getting to the source of why you haven’t had lasting success on your own which is typically because of old B.S. mindset patterns. Those have got to go if you want your body and health to change for good.

My approach is very grounded and straight forward. It’s based on science and what really works, not the latest trend or nutrition scare. 

I truly believe when your mind and life are in order your health falls in line so when you work with me it’s never just a physical workout.

Depending on what you want to accomplish and what’s going on in your life determines how we target each session. Expect to spend time in discussion and also time working out. The first few sessions are always focused more on discussion and then once we figure out your goals they typically shift to less discussion and more movement (if we're working in person). 

Women typically come to me because they want to lose weight and/or tone up yet have not had lasting success on their own. Here are three very common reasons why and what we get to the bottom of. Do you identify with any?

  • You’re underestimating how many calories you're actually consuming and overestimating how much you’re moving your body (eating too little messes with weight loss and toning too.)

 

  • You’re stuck in another area of your life but aren’t taking the right actions to change the situation or you don’t feel like there’s anything you can do. (Stress.is.the.devil. when it comes to keeping the pounds on.)

 

  • You’re your own worst enemy and are in a nasty habit of beating yourself up. You’re in a vicious cycle of comparing your health/body/looks (you name it) to unrealistic standards and then try hard to measure up. You get results for a while but end up resorting back to your old ways.

You always leave with specific actionables and assignments to accomplish on your own and can count on me for email support in between. 

Up-leveling your body and your health takes time, regular committed action, and yes, it takes work. It also sometimes means that you need to address areas in your life that aren’t working first before you will have the time, energy and right mindset to up-level your body. And that’s what I’m great at.

Life & Happiness Coaching

 

Our time together is powerful and geared to invent a life that fires you up! I help you get clear on what you want, what you don’t, and what has been keeping you from it. And then we map out a realistic plan to get you there. 

We also spend time addressing very common mindset blocks that may be keeping you from going for your powerful life with gusto!

Each session is packed with productive discussion, mentoring and lots of ‘ah-ha’ moments (and always a bit of fun). 

We meet in person (or phone/Skype) and often times we walk during all or part of our sessions if possible because great shifts, clarity, and creativity happen when you incorporate movement, fresh air and nature :)

Here are common reasons people work with me but not exclusive to what I can help with:

  • Relationships. If you’re tired of attracting the wrong person (or no person), or being in a relationship that has as much spunk as a sloth I just may be your coach. I’m great at helping you do your inner work so that you learn how to attract and thrive in lasting relationships even if it feels hopeless now (I’ve helped several people find their soul mates:))

 

  • Transition. Perhaps your transition is straight forward (you’ve recently moved or gotten a divorce for example) but maybe it’s not. Maybe you just don’t feel right and you aren’t sure how to sort it all out (you know deep down that it may be time to let go of a relationship or you’re just not feeling your corporate gig anymore for example) so you end up overthinking it for-e-ver without getting anywhere and that’s a super energy and confidence drain.

I ask you a ton of clarity questions to help you figure it out and then get you moving ahead with confidence and a realistic action plan. Oh, and btw, if you’re new to Chattanooga I am an amazing resource! Reach out to me even if you don’t need coaching. 

 

  • Good `ole genuine happiness. You like your life, it's OK, but you’re just not that happy with it because it’s stressful, overwhelming, and full of have-tos. I help you take your power back and get you excited about it again.

I teach you tools that shift you out of your well-worn stubborn patterns so you can see your situations differently (and/or change them). You up-level how you approach life and that typically means letting go of stress, worry, and anxiety and replacing them with renewed joy, genuine happiness, and a powerful get-it-done yet relaxed attitude.
